Thanks to its size the Maly Krivan peak is the second highest peak after Velky Krivan. We can easily find it on the main ridge of the Little Fatra mountains, westwards from Velky Krivan. Alike its „big brother“- Velky Krivan, Maly Krivan is much-sought-for place mainly for its magnificent scenery view. The north slopes of Maly Krivan head toward well-known Bielanska dolina. If you are interested in botanics, you will admire plenty of precious flowers on slopes of this mountain.
